This Christmas expect the best, free festive entertainment all season long at Darling Harbour.

Sydney's premier Harbourside entertainment precinct is gearing up for a fun-filled Christmas with kids' entertainment, carollers, choirs, fireworks, Santaand more!

Darling Harbour kicks-off its festive season with a free Christmas concert and the lighting ofits brand new Christmas tree on Saturday 1 December.

From 7:30pm, David Campbell, Georgie Parker and the Australian Youth Choir will perform Christmas carols from around the world accompanied by a 20-piece orchestra live on the Aquashell stage.

Special guests Banana in Pyjamas, Bob the Builder and the Chipmunks will also entertain the audience with their funny antics during the 'Sounds of Christmas from Around the World' concert.

Direct from the North Pole, Santa and his Elves will zoom into Cockle Bayon jet skis for an early Christmas visit before a Starlight Foundation Wish Child flicks the switch on Darling Harbour's spectacular, new Christmas tree.

The Christmas concert will conclude with a festive fireworks finale at 9pm.

The Christmas spirit will continue throughout season with Sydney's finest a cappella groups performing live by the tree each evening from7pm on 2, 6, 13 and 20 December.
